About Typhoon Cooling Systems
The desire to create a portable self contained very high pressure mist system was conceived by Walt Passolt after noticing the dehydration of the participants in the charitable 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer.  Thru his affiliation with Tom Tutera and in conjunction with the industry peer, PSI/Mist Air, they came up with a way to provide you with an affordable solution to your outdoor “event” needs and Typhoon Cooling emerged.

PSI (Pressure Systems Industries) began in 1961 here in Arizona.  Initially servicing the copper mines by building custom steam cleaners, pressure washers and pump stations.  In 1982 they added the Mist Air division and have always been an innovator in “cooling” systems worldwide.

In response to the request from the participants of the Breast Cancer Walk, Walt  Passolt created the concept and then Tom Tutera and PSI Mist Air began it’s R & D back in 2006.  Tom partnered with Jay Jeffries and together designed and engineered a perfect mobile cooling system that meets the Arizona needs to provide a “Cool Zone” for outdoor gatherings.
